Coker Connection

First-Year Experience

Coker University is excited to introduce new undergraduate 学生s to Coker Connection. We want to begin to connect with you and have you connect with us, Cobra to Cobra.

Coker Connection is designed to give new 学生s a head start on their academic experience. 学生 will register for classes, talk with financial aid and 学生 account representatives, register for housing, and talk with faculty, staff and coaches.

Day Student – Starting in the Fall
New 学生s who begin at Coker in the fall semester and take classes on-campus during the day will complete Coker Connection during one of the following 5 dates:
- Friday, April 5, 2024
- Friday, May 17, 2024
- Saturday, June 8, 2024
- Saturday, June 22, 2024
- Friday, July 12, 2024
学生 will receive a detailed schedule for the Coker Connection event they register for prior to each event via email.
在线 & Bridge 学生
New 学生s who take classes online will complete the Virtual Coker Connection course in Brightspace. The Virtual Coker Connection course will introduce you to Coker University and provide you an overview of campus resources through a series of videos, 网页, 和更多的. You will learn about the Student Success Center, Academic Expectations, Life as a Cobra, Technology at Coker and Campus Resources.

You can access the course by logging into your Brightspace account 在这里 & selecting Virtual Coker Connection under Courses. Please note that this course is self-paced and you do not have to complete it in one sitting. You are able to log-in and out as needed.
Day Student – Starting in the Spring

New 学生s who start at Coker in the spring semester and take classes on-campus during the day will complete Coker Connection in December 2024. The Spring 在线 Coker Connection event allows 学生s to meet incoming classmates, make connections with faculty and take a deeper dive into campus resources. Registration for December 2024 Coker Connection will occur in October 2024.
